Flash Banner Sketch

In order to get a rough idea for what I wanted my flash banner to look like I needed to sketch it out. By doing this it allowed me to explore different ideas and see what they looked like within a flash banner frame. By doing this it also helped me to think of different ways of making my flash banner interactive. My first idea was a bottled water advertisement. Although the concept wasn't the most original, I think the flash banner design proved to be the most viable as this stage. The bottle of water would slowly tip over with each frame and water would spill out of it. Once the bottle had been completely tipped over, the link to this blog would appear in the water. Also, the name of the drink "hydrate" would drop from the top and the mascot would dangle from it.

The second idea was also a good one. The design seemed good but it didn't seem to have as much interactivity as the first one. The concept of the egg bouncing against a wall and then hatching to reveal a chick and a "Happy Easter" logo. For the final flash animation I could animate it so that the banner has a link to my website. I think this design would be the hardest to animate as it would include more frames than the one above. This design is the more imaginative of the two as it would look better once animated despite the difficulty.
