Stop Motion Evalutation

I do not think that my stop motion animation is on the same level of quality as the ones I analysed, but I view it as decent given the time frame and lack of budget. The overall idea could've been executed to a higher standard but the sound effects have been placed at the correct moments to correspond with the action that takes place within the shots at specific points. The stop motion itself decent is but more could've been done to increase its quality. The lighting within the scene is also good as both subjects are lit correctly, neither of them are over or underexposed. The music that has been added "Take on me" represents the comical nature of the animation, as one of the characters accidentally splits the other in half. The music also helps to add to the creativity and fluidity of the motion within the scene.
The way the motion within the scene takes place is carried out well, particularly with the unwrapping chocolate as the bars slide out. A filter was added to the photos once they has been edited together to make the scene more eye appealing. The filter enhanced certain colours and increased the sharpness of the scene. The framing of the shots was difficult as first but later proved to be easier once the characters were introduced to the scene. Although the framing was seemingly easy, choosing the correct shot type was also difficult, as I had to be selective in the way I wanted to show off my idea to the audience. The stop motion was filmed at a late time of the day, meaning that the light distribution wasn't quite even. To combat this, I had to switch on my kitchen lights and angle the stage and characters in such a way so that they would be lit up correctly in front of the camera. I also adjusted my camera settings by playing around with the ISO as well as using a prime lens that specialises in close up work to help aid this.
