Podcast Synopsis

The story begins in an arcade. The sound of coins clanging and the moving of joysticks dominate the other sounds at this point. This is the first scene the audience is introduced to the future student Jason. Jason is a timid character to begin with but slowly becomes more confident as he is trained more. The champion at this point is surrounded by an amass of people, all of which are chanting his name/signature phrase. Jason approaches the crowd and sees the champion, Adam, breaking the high score for Pac-Man. The champion at this point after breaking the world record for the third time believe that it might be time to find a protege, someone of which will carry on his legacy.

Jason, after witnessing this gaming spectacle, feels driven to leave his own mark on the gaming industry. In order to do this he paces over to the same Pac-Man arcade game that the champion was playing on. After many hours of trying to play the game Jason still hasn't improved in any way. Adam approaches Jason and offers him tutelage under one condition. At the championship next year in Toronto they will face off. Under his tutelage Jason improves greatly, however, a shocking change of attitude acts a wake up call for Adam. Adam becomes more arrogant and transforms from an all loving character, into a much more obnoxious and detestable character. Through this change of character the audience is able to see that the two characters are complete opposites and establish a protagonist and an antagonist. After traveling to many championships the two finally face in Toronto. The championship fight between the two characters is aggressive and merciless. In the end Jason manages to beat his former teacher in a close match.
